Project status...

As you know I working at a small Baltic Crusade project, the first force are some Swedish Crusaders. So far I managed to paint 5 Mounted Knights and 14 Ledung Infantry soldiers.

Next up are one more group of Ledung soldiers, pictures below, and then probably one more group of Knights or maybe some heathens for the oppositions:)

The minis are a mix from several manufacturers, Curteys, Crusader, Gripping Beast and Artizan and a West Wind head:)

I really look forward to the opposition too.
I wonder if this priod would work well with Dan Mersey's rules?

    1. Glad that you like it Alan, might give you some inspiration to continue your own Nordic project;)

I avsolutely think that Dux Bellorum would work for this period, I actually had re-read the rules yesterday with this project in mind:)

Ski mounted scouts... I don´t ses much snow on the bases...but it geting colder up here in the north and it´s snow in the air... If it would start to snow I suppouse I would have to give the Scouts skis and some sledges to transport the troops in:)

  6. Nice.
What I dont like is that I really like your idea of basing miniatures on round bases and have an movement tray to give them a unit effect.

Curse you and your inspirational work, I dont have time to rebase all my miniatures.

    1. Thanks!

If it is any comfort I think it is one drawback...take time to mount all minis on the movementtrays each time you should play... ;)

The basing gives me some options regarding rules to use and size of the games.
